Biography of Maziyar Parsa
Maziyar Parsa was born in Tehran in 1974 and grew up in a music-loving family. He received piano lessons as a child and was supported by his relatives, especially from western countries. After initial exercises based on Persian musical composition, Parsa switched to European music with its diverse facets.
In 2003 he left Iran to devote himself entirely to music in Germany, and worked on a wide variety of musical styles, playing classical, romantic, pop and film music. In 2016 he started composing his own piano pieces. All the diverse influences can be seen in his compositions.
